Every user have two type of accont at CSS Warsaw network. One, on Windows Domain give access to Windows XP Professional workstations in laboratories and network shares at fileservers. Second, on Linux server, is mail account. Becouse we have problems with on-line synchronizing password we separate access to that accounts. Starting 14.02.2000 all accounts will have set password expiring for 90 days. You ought to change password before expire term.
Passwords must be at least six (6) characters long, (fourteen (14) is maximum lenght).
Passwords must contain characters from at least three (3) of the following four (4) classes:
Passwords may not contain your user name or any part of your full name.
Once you change your password, you cannot change it back to your previous password. The new password must differ from the old one by at least 3 characters. However, if you really don't want to change your password there is a way to do it. Use the old password, but with a change in the case of three or more of the letters.
